Research Interests
- Water management in Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFCs)
- Characterization of PEMFC Gas Diffusion Layers
- Microfluidic fuel cells
- Microfluidics & multiphase flow in porous media
- Carbon sequestration
Our research interests encompass the study of microfluidics applied to transport phenomena in energy systems, with a focus on polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel cell technologies. The goal of our work is to design novel materials and architectures for enhanced energy systems through a two pronged approach: numerical modelling and experimental validation. Our research is multidisciplinary and involves fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, micro- and nano-technologies, chemistry, and geology. Learn more »
